Vehicle Description Main Street Motors - Denison is proud to offer this restored 1947 Packard Deluxe Clipper Eight Touring Sedan.

A beautiful classic car powered by it's original (rebuilt) 282ci inline 8 cylinder engine.
This car is equipped with a (rebuilt) 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive and Electromatic clutch.
It runs perfect, drives great and stops well.
All of the lights, gauges, horn, radio and wipers are in good working order.
This was a multi-year restoration with a lot of the mechanical work done in the late 1990's.
The car was painted in 2003 in it's original color of Atlantic Blue metallic.
The paint job is very nice, looks great.
All of the chrome trim and bumpers were replated at that time and all body weatherstripping was replaced.
The entire interior was restored in 2003 as well.
The engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2008 and have very few miles on them.
This car comes with a large binder full of receipts and ownership information as well as the original owner's manual.
BF Goodrich wide whitewall tires on the original wheels with matching spare in trunk.
This is a great collector car with a good history.
It appears to have spent the bulk of it's life in New Mexico's dry, rust-free climate and the last several years, here in Texas.
