Vehicle Description Main Street Motors Denison is proud to offer this 1953 Packard Patrician Touring Sedan.
This is powered by the original 327 cubic inch, inline 8 cylinder engine, with a 4 barrel Carter carburetor (rated at 180hp).
It runs excellent.
Optioned with an automatic transmission.
Manual steering / brakes.
No air-conditioner.
The Patrician model is Packard's highest trim level sedan.
This car drives great and stops very good.
It is a wonderful cruiser.
Very capable of highway driving.
The body is very solid - no rust issues.
The paint appears to be original and does shine but it is showing it's age.
It looks fine as-is and exemplifies this car's survivor status.
Remember, this is a 71 year old automobile and it is in remarkable condition considering.
The interior has been reupholstered at some point and it is in very good condition.
The lights, wipers, horn and gauges all work as you'd expect.
The original AM radio comes on but does not play sound.
The BF Goodrich Silvertown wide whitewall tires have deep tread but they are definitely old.
Overall, this is a great classic car that can literally be driven anywhere.
The odometer reads 90,114 miles and that is believed to be the actual miles on this car.
